Menu Cards Inspiration

A trend we have been seeing with our weddings (especially those that do a custom spread) are Menu Cards!  They not only provide your guests with useful information (What's for dinner??) but also can add style and color to your table. Menu cards can add that little something extra to an otherwise tranditional table setting.

Here are some of our favorite ideas:

Cards can be specialy ordered or printed yourself at home so they can be a reality for any budget.

Dressing up your table- Centerpieces!!

After your table setup, one of the biggest impacts in your room for your guests when they enter are your table centerpieces. They set the tone of the room and bring in all of your wedding colors to decorate the room and show of your style. From simple to elaborate, we have seen some interesting uses of color and space in our building.

From traditional flowers, to colored water, to even fruit! Check out what some of our former brides have done to make the tables truly their own:

Stumped on what to do or short on time and budget and want some ideas? Our exclusive caterer, Distinctive Gourmet, offers centerpieces for rent at a reasonable rate that can be customized to match your taste and wedding colors (and you don't have to worry about carting around centerpieces before the wedding, set up, or clean up).

Here are some examples:

Each rental centerpiece comes with 3 clear glass cylinders filled with water- you can use our Fire Marshal approved candles, float your own flowers, or add decorative pieces around the base. This photo shows clear water with candles on a silver charger base.

Another option is to have your 3 cylinders on top of a mirrored tile to reflect the candle light. This photo also shows a standard colored napkin under the mirror for a pop of color.

A third option here is that we can do our best to match your wedding colors and color the water in some or all of your cylinders. Shown here with the mirrored tile- the colored water adds that little something extra to the table.

Contact your catering sales manager for more details on pricing and even more ideas on how to make our rental centerpieces all your own.

What interesting thing have you seen/used as centerpieces for a wedding? Comment on this post and let us know (include a photo or link if you can!) we love new ideas!
